God’s Goodness

What Can God’s Goodness Do for You?

GOD’S GOODNESS CAN GIVE YOU A HOME IN HEAVEN!

Only a good God would offer to everyone a wonderful home in Heaven free of charge; It’s a gift! You must receive the gift however by receiving Jesus Christ as your aviour. When you receive God’s Son, you receive God’s power and authority to be God’s child and to live with Him in Heaven. “But as many as received Him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.” (John 1:12)

GOD’S GOODNESS CAN FORGIVE YOU OF ALL YOUR SINS!

Only a good God would forgive you of everything you ever did. The apostle Paul said that God’s goodness should lead us to “repentance.” (Romans 2:4) When I think of how good God has been to me, I just want to say to God, “I am so sorry for my sins. Please forgive me.” That’s what repentance is – admitting you have sinned and want forgiveness. God has been good to you also if you will just look around. Perhaps some of you are like me – a survivor. God has brought you through incredible circumstances. You could have died or should have, but God in His goodness and mercy brought you through your trials. Accept His love in Christ. We are all sinners like God said, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)

He will forgive you because He gave His life for you on the cross. He is alive and will come into your life if you will only ask Him to save you and forgive you. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved – “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:9,13)

ASK GOD TO SAVE YOU TODAY!

Perhaps you could pray a prayer like this: Dear God, I know I am a sinner. I believe you are so good to send your Son Jesus to die on the cross to save me. Please forgive me; I am sorry. I ask Jesus to save me, forgive me, and take me to Heaven when I die. I trust Him alone for my salvation. Thank you for being so good to save me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
